Available Grants and Incentives

All of our solar panel systems are eligible for SEAI grants and VAT exemption which lowers your initial investment, delivers a faster return on investment, and enhanced affordability of advanced systems with battery storage.

SEAI Grants

Homeowners in Ireland can benefit from Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) grants, which offer up to €1,800 for installing solar PV systems. This grant significantly reduces the upfront cost, making solar energy more accessible.

VAT Exemption

A recent government initiative has made solar panel installations VAT-free. This further reduces the overall cost, providing an additional financial incentive to switch to solar energy.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I must say was very impressed with the professionalism of both set of workers on the installation of Solar panels at my home.No mess and very corteous and extremely helpful in answering my couple of queries. From the first visit by the AEI rep to signing off was all taken care of and I had very little to do.Only slight downside it took about 7/8 weeks due to big demand.I would have no problem in recommending AEI very easy to deal with

The completed their tasks neatly and efficiently and were finished much more quickly than I expected. The one minor glitch was quickly resolved over the phone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Finally made the decision to go ‘Solar Panels’ for my house in Cork. I contacted a number of Suppliers and met their representatives but I just wasn’t convinced. Fortunately for me one guy stood out - he was particularly friendly, relaxed, struck up an instant relationship with my German Shepherd, Rebel, over a cup of tea (!), could explain all the 'Solar jargon' in an uncomplicated way, appeared to have endless patience and didn't come across even remotely pushy.

The 'deal maker' that locked me in was all of the above plus I felt that he really wanted me to have a successful www.AEI.ie Solar service and investment experience.

Daniel Costello is an absolute credit to AEI Solar! I've recommended him and AEI to many neighbours and friends since my installation. I've been back and forth to Daniel over the past few months looking for clarity in the various packs/proposals, checking various installation dates etc. and he has been superb. 5 Stars for Daniel and www.aei.ie from this particularly happy customer.
