Adare Manor is a world-renowned luxury hotel in Adare, Co. Limerick. It’s a business like no other than we have worked on. Only the best will do, and only the highest standards are acceptable.
The hotel has a very high consumption of electricity with on-site facilities, electric heat pumps heating the hotel, restaurant and clubhouse. They also want to encourage the uptake of electric vehicles with guests and staff, so they asked us to install electric vehicle charging points also. Adare Manor take their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) very seriously and continuously string to minimise their environmental impact across the 840 acre site.
The Issue
Adare Manor wished to reduce their onsite CO2 emissions and stop relying solely on the national grid for their electricity.
The Solution
The solution comprised of a 60kw Autarco Solar PV system and an output guarantee to ensure the projected savings are delivered. EV chargers were also installed for staff and guests.
The Benefits
A reduction in carbon emissions of 15 tonnes of CO2 per year and savings of €9,300 per year and payback will be achieved in 4.2 years.
