The dust has settled on another fantastic year at the National Ploughing Championships, and what a special one it was for us at Alternative Energy Ireland (AEI). Not only did we get the chance to showcase the benefits of solar PV, but this year the event was held right here in Tullamore, our hometown. That meant plenty of familiar faces stopping by our stand, along with plenty of new ones, making the three days a truly memorable experience.
A Community Feel
Being based in Tullamore gave this year’s Ploughing a real community feel for our team. We had countless conversations with neighbours, local businesses, and families who were eager to learn more about the role solar energy can play in powering their homes and reducing energy costs. It’s always rewarding to meet people where we live and work, and we couldn’t be prouder to represent Offaly on such a big stage.
Partners That Made It Special
We were honoured to share our stand with the Men’s Shed, whose involvement brought an added sense of community spirit to the site. Their presence drew so many people in, and we’re grateful to have partnered with them this year.
We were also delighted to be located alongside Certa, another key player in Ireland’s journey toward a sustainable future. Sharing space with like-minded organisations created a brilliant atmosphere of collaboration and mutual support.
