We’re delighted to announce that AEI was recently selected to deliver the solar installation for the Clara Community Solar Meitheal in Co. Offaly.
To mark the official launch, our team, including Nigel, Paul and Brian, gave a kickoff presentation on Wednesday, July 16th. Around 40 local homeowners expressed interest in upgrading to solar PV, making it a promising start for the project.
Special thanks to Laurence O’Reilly from the SEAI and Mary Delaney for their fantastic work in bringing this initiative to life. With everything now in motion, we’re aiming to have boots on the ground as early as next week.
For those unfamiliar, a solar meitheal is a community-led initiative where neighbours come together to install solar panels at a reduced cost, taking advantage of group buying power, shared resources, and SEAI support to make the transition to renewable energy more accessible.
