Stephen Bray

Managing Director

Steven founded AEI Commercial Solar back in 2006 after travelling the world for two years. He got the idea of setting up a Renewable Energy Company while travelling and has managed the business from a home office operation to the Award-Winning company it is today. Steven is a qualified Building Services Engineer having completed his studies at DIT Bolton Street. In his spare time Steven is kept busy with 3 little girls at home and de-stresses with the help of exercise.

Darren Buckley

Renewable Energy Director

Darren is several years working with us and is responsible for sales to both the domestic and commercial Renewable Energy sectors. He is based and works from our Tullamore office. Being an ex-plumber , with over 15 years’ experience in the Renewable Energy and plumbing sector gives him a distinct advantage for understanding systems in all types of buildings. Darren specialises in Solar PV for various sectors from farming to industrial sites and everything in between. Darrens favourite hobby is any sport with a ball, but especially GAA and Golf.

Brian Gleeson

National Contracts Manager

Brian is the most recent addition to the AEI team, but he came to us with almost 10 years of Renewable Energy sales experience. Brian is responsible for commercial Renewable Energy sales. He is based at our Dublin office. Also being a fully qualified Building Services Engineer from DIT Bolton St. Brian has a great understanding of energy systems in commercial buildings. Brian will be fully involved from design stage up until the project is handed over to our installation team. In his down time, Brian can usually be found in the rough of his local golf course, searching for his missing ball.
