Steven founded AEI Solar back in 2006 after travelling the world for a year. He got the idea of setting up a Renewable Energy Company while travelling and initially ran the business from a home office and successfully sold the business to DCC plc in 2023.

Steven is a qualified Building Services Engineer having completed his studies at DIT Bolton Street. In his spare time Steven is kept busy with his 3 daughters at home and he de-stresses with the help of exercise, saunas and ice baths.

Any tips you would give to aspiring business leaders?

Working smart and hard will get you much further than you realise.

Brian heads up the residential sales team and is involved in so much more. He has 17 years of Renewable Energy sales experience. Brian is based from our Tullamore office, and being a fully qualified Building Services Engineer from DIT Bolton St. Brian has a great understanding of integrating all forms of energy systems into existing buildings.

In his down time, Brian can usually be found in the rough of his local golf course, searching for his missing ball.

Gavin joined us in 2018 and has progressed from technical sales advisor all the way to becoming a residential sales manager, leading a sales team. Gavin leads by example and is a consistent achiever in sales. He works hard and always strives to improve himself with training and learning from others.

Gavin is a qualified Commercial BER assessor, so he understands the energy and financial savings with all our technologies. Gavin always keeps active and enjoys the outdoors, the gym and saunas to unwind.

Any advice for any new sales representatives?

Listen to the needs and wants of customers and deal with them like a consultant, as opposed to trying to sell them what you think they want.
